Do I use AI to write my posts? Yes I do!!!

I recently got feedback that my posts felt “a little AI and not very human.”

This stung 🐝 ... as an agile advocate and systems-thinking champion, I live by feedback loops, so I had to reflect on why it stung.

It stung because it questioned my authenticity.

But here’s the thing: AI isn’t replacing my voice. It’s helping me translate it.

If you’ve worked with me before, you’ll know I can be no-filter, fast-thinking, and sometimes sharp-talking.

That’s how my neurodivergent wiring,

Portuglish background, and

mathematician brain processes the world.

I see the big picture quickly and clearly — but translating that into simple, standardised business language is harder.

That’s the same challenge with new ideas, without structure they can feel abstract, even overwhelming.

Which is exactly why I created the 101 Framework: its a structured tool and process to capture and define big ideas quickly with clarity, a common 'simple' language, and a path to action.

So yes — I use AI.

But not to outsource my thinking.

I use it to shape decades of experience into something others can actually absorb.

Love it or hate it,

AI is just the newest version of the invisible scaffolding that writing has always had.

  • Churchill dictated speeches to secretaries.

  • Authors use ghostwriters.

  • CEOs lean on comms teams.

  • Academics send half-finished drafts to research assistants.

The only difference is: now it’s accessible to those of us without a PA or editorial team.

And if you don’t believe it’s me behind these words?

Call me.

Test my knowledge in person.
